CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin is a blend of two growth hormone secretagogues (GHS). CJC-1295 is a tetrasubstituted version of GHRH 1-29 comprising 29 amino acids; Ipamorelin is a selective pentapeptide acting on GHS-R1a receptors. Their combination creates a synergistic pharmacokinetic profile.
Ipamorelin acts first, with a GH peak at 0.67 h and a half-life of 2 hours. As it wanes, CJC-1295 takes over with a half-life of 5.8–8.1 days, maintaining prolonged secretion. A single introduction of CJC-1295 may increase GH by 46% and IGF-1 by 45% on average.
CJC-1295 binds covalently to blood albumin via its DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) element, extending its half-life from 10 minutes to several days. It also maintains the natural pulsatility of GH, unlike other analogs.
